Osborne Primary’s School Board was established in 2015 when Osborne Primary became an Independent Public School.
The School Board supports the Principal in the strategic leadership of the school by setting and monitoring the long-term direction for the school and maintains oversight (not management) of the School Business Plan.
The Board is made up of committed parents, teachers and community members who meet four times a year (once per term) to monitor the school’s progress towards the strategic objectives of:
- Successful students
- Learning environment
- Leaders in teaching and learning
- Community partnerships
The Department of Education Governance Tree demonstrates governance and advisory roles in a school setting.
